About The Chic Diplomat

The Chic Diplomat is a resource for women who travel for work and need to remain credible, capable, and well—no matter where they land.

Work travel is often framed as a privilege or a perk. In reality, it is demanding, cumulative, and frequently misunderstood. It requires long days, compressed schedules, unfamiliar environments, and the ability to perform consistently while your body is out of sync and your routine is not your own. It asks you to move across cultures and contexts with judgment, discretion, and ease—often while exhausted.

I created The Chic Diplomat after more than a decade of traveling extensively for work, from Brussels to Baghdad to Bangkok, across time zones, climates, and professional settings. Over those years, I learned—sometimes the hard way—what holds up under pressure and what quietly fails. Which clothing earns its place. Which systems reduce friction. Which wellness habits actually support resilience when travel is constant and optionality is low.

This site is the distilled version of that experience.

Here you’ll find practical guidance on professional travel style, wellbeing on the road, and simple, repeatable systems designed for women who travel frequently and work in serious rooms. The focus is not on trends or glamour, but on reliability, restraint, and quiet confidence—on what actually works when you’re tired and still need to show up fully.

The goal of The Chic Diplomat is simple: to help women who travel for work spend less time experimenting, recovering, or second-guessing—and more time arriving prepared, composed, and entirely themselves.
